Seattle Location 6: Shoreline Community College - 16101 Greenwood Ave N, Shoreline, WA 98133; 1500 Building, Room 1522

Here is a Shoreline Community College Map (click on the link for the map), we are the in the "1500" building.  Each building is named with a number and the number is easily visible while driving in your car, or walking.  Parking is free on the weekend and the building is easy to get to.  There is non-filtered water available.  This a very lovely campus with lots of greenery.  If you have time after class, it's an enjoyable place to take a walk (preferably without rain).

Note: Once you get to the intersection of 160th St N and Greenwood Ave N, do not follow your GPS any further as typing the campus address of "16101 Greenwood Ave N" into your GPS will take you to the admissions building.

Directions

  • South on I-5:
    • Take the Northeast 175th Street exit, EXIT 176
    • Turn Right onto N 175th St - go .7 miles
    • Turn Left onto Hwy 99 (Aurora Ave N) - go .8 miles
    • Turn right onto N 160th St - go .5 miles
    • Turn right onto Greenwood Ave N
    • Immediately turn left at the Shoreline Community College sign
  • North on I-5:
    • Take the WA-523 (NE 145th Street) exit, EXIT 175 (stay in the left turn lane to turn left on to 145th St NE) - go .7 miles
    • Turn left onto WA-523/NE 145th St - go 1 miles
    • Turn right onto HWY-99 (Aurora Ave N) - go .8 miles
    • Turn left onto N 160th St - go .5 miles
    • Turn right onto Greenwood Ave N
    • Immediately turn left at the Shoreline Community College sign
  • Directions at Shoreline Community College:
    • As soon as you have turned off of Greenwood Ave N at the Shoreline Community College Sign continue straight past the entrance way to Shoreline College (it feels like the road "Y"s, but it does not, avoid the right turn onto the campus and remain on the road) -- go .3 miles
    • Drive past the next crossroad on the right
    • Turn right at the next crossroad on the right, just before, there is a sign that says "Off Leash Dog Park" and then once you've turned right there is a the sign that says "S2 Parking"
    • Park in any available student parking spot across from the "1500" building
    • This classroom is accessed from the outside of the building.
    • As you approach the 1500 building from the parking lot the classroom is on the southeast side of the building (this side has a green area next to it and across the green space is the "1400" building.)
    • Follow the walkway along the side of the building and enter Room 1515 from the out side of the building.  (If you see another building right next to the 1500 building, you are on the wrong side of the building and need to walk to the other side).
    • Note: if you accidentally turn into the first campus entrance, there is a ring road that goes around the primary section of the campus. Follow it until you see the "1500" building and then park in the student parking lot in front of the building.
